• Experienced in providing biosafety, biosecurity, laboratory planning/programming, engineering design, and commissioning to private and government agencies throughout the U.S. and around the world including Egypt, Hong Kong, Indonesia, The Kyrgyz Republic, Mexico, Mozambique, the Philippines, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, and Thailand.
  
  
• Invited speaker to the World Bank Avian Influenza Technical Series: Animal and Human Health Laboratories and Biosafety.
  
  
• Invited instructor for the Philippines BSL-3 Planning, Programming, and Operations Workshop.
  
  
• Invited instructor for the Frontline Foundation National Biosafety and Biocontainment Training Program, BSL-3 and BSL-4 Operations and Maintenance
  
  
• Participated in the development of CDC's Design & Construction Standards, chairing the Mechanical Subcommittee.
  
  
• Experienced in design and construction of A/BSL-2, A/BSL-3, and BSL-4 facilities both domestically and internationally.
  
  
• Developed the mechanical requirements for CDC's Bioterrorism and Chemical/Radiological Terrorism response laboratories.
